In today's world it is hard to do. Hurry, hurry...and what do you miss? Not much.
So, the Book Club, for their classic, is reading Little Women.
I didn't go to the library and I didn't order it online. As an Antique dealer and good Ebayer- I went to an estate sale. I saw by the house vintage, that it would be there. Almost exactly on a shelf next to a fireplace, where I predicted it would be, by a dream the night before. There is was.

An old copy.

The pages are brittle. The message just the same. But it has end papers. And Illustrations.

And in the pages, there is a bookmark...1938.. a poetic invitation to an event.

This is why I don't do Kindle.
